Input Shaft Assembly
1. Slide the retaining ring onto the input shaft using a press and
plate until it is seated in the groove. Figure 7.1.

2. Press the bearing cups into the direct drive gear. Place one in
each side. Figure 7.2.

3. Install the under drive gear onto the threaded end of the shaft.
Check to see that the retaining ring is fully seated in the groove
on the underside of the gear. Figure 7.3.

4. Install the heated front bearing onto the input shaft. Figure 7.4.
