5. Rotate the housing and place into a suitable assembly stand or on
a sturdy workbench. Figure 7.29.

6. Place the direct drive gear into the housing. Install the input shaft
into the housing while passing it through the direct drive gear.

7. Reinstall the rear bearing onto the input shaft. Figure 7.31.

8. Install the front bearing cup into the housing, leaving it protruding
