7 Assembly
9. Install a new seal into the input shaft seal carrier using an arbor
press or similar. Ensure the o-ring is seated properly in the seal
carrier groove. Figure 7.33.

10. Install the input shaft seal carrier with bracket into the case using
a new gasket. Use Loctite 272 threadlocker on the bolt threads
and torque to specifi cation in a crisscross pattern. Figure 7.34.

11. Install the rear-most input shaft support bearing (heated) and
bearing lock nut, using Loctite 290 threadlocker on the threads.
Torque to specifi cation. Figure 7.35.

12. Install the rear outer bearing cup into housing followed by the
bearing cup spacer. Figure 7.36.
