49. Install the oil drain and oil fi ll plugs. Figure 7.73.

50. Check the o-ring for damage and then install the speed sensor
by rotating the shaft so one tooth of the tone ring is aligned with
the speed sensor. Thread in the speed sensor until it touches that
tooth. Back out the speed sensor 1/2 - 3/4 turns and tighten the
nut. Figure 7.74.

51. Install the housing cover plate using split lock washers and
Loctite 272 threadlocker on the capscrew threads. Torque to
specifi cation. Figure 7.75.
