7 Assembly
45. Align the grooves in the shift shaft with the holes in the shift forks.
Apply Loctite 272 threadlocker to the bolt threads and install the
bolts. Torque to specifi cation. Install the lock wire as shown below.

46. Install an oil soaked felt wiper in the large groove on the range
shift piston and slide the cylinder onto the piston. Figure 7.70.

47. Install the shift cylinder cap onto cylinder using Loctite 242
threadlocker on the bolt threads. Torque to specifi cation. Figure
