Whenthevehicleisinmotion,donotswitch
offtheignitionorremovethekey,otherwise
thesteeringwheelmaybelocked,makingit
impossibletoturnthevehicle.
DONOTremoveortouchthekeywhilethe
carisinmotion,itmaycausetheengineto
cutoutandstop!
Theignitionswitchislocatedontherightsideofthe
steeringcolumn.Functionofeachpositionisasfollows:
PositionLOCK/OFF
•Thekeycanbeinsertedorremoved.
•Aftertheengineisstoppedandthekeyisremoved,
turnthesteeringwheeltoonesidetolockthesteering
wheel.
PositionACC
•Theengineisnotstartedandthekeycannotbe
removed.
•Individualelectricalequipmentandaccessoriescannow
beoperated,e.g.electricwindows.
PositionON/RUN
•Enginewillrunafterstarting.
•Limitedelectricalequipmentwillfunctionwithengine
notrunning(noA/Corheatedrearwindow).
•Allelectricalequipmentwillfunctionwhenengine
running.
PositionSTART
•Starttheengine.
