ColdClimates
Intemperaturesof-10℃andbelow,enginecrankingtimes
willincrease.Itisessentialthatallunnecessaryelectrical
equipmentareswitchedoffwhilecranking.
StoppingtheEngine
Stoppingtheengineasfollows:
1Afterbringingthecartoastop,ALWA YSapplythe
parkingbrake;
2Applytheparkingbrake;
3Ensurethatthegearleverisintheneutralposition;
4T urnthekeyfromtheON/RUNpositiontothe
LOCK/OFFposition,theenginewillbeshutdown
andthekeycanberemoved.
Note:Afterstrenuoustowingordrivingathighspeed
(particularlyinhotweather),itisrecommendedto
allowtheenginetoidleforafewminutesbefore
switchingoff,whichenablesthecoolingsystemto
workcontinuouslytolowertheenginetemperature.
