mustbeconnectedtoasuitablepositionon
thevehiclebody.Failuretodothiswillresult
ininaccuratebatterypowercalculation
whichwilleffectautomaticStop/Start
control.
DONOTdisconnectthebatterysensorunless
absolutelynecessary.removalwillresultin
inaccuratebatterypowercalculationwhich
willeffectautomaticStop/Startcontrol.
Note:Failuretooperatewithinthefollowing
guidelineswilleffectbatteryperformanceand
automaticStop/Startcontrol:
1Afterpowerinterruptions(batterydisconnection)
theautomaticStop/Startfunctionwillbe
suspendeduntilthevehicleisleftinalockedstate
foratleast4hourswhilstthesystemrelearnsthe
stateofthebattery.
2Ifthevehicleisruncontinuallyformorethan100
hoursuninterrupted,theStop/Startfunctionwill
besuspendeduntilthevehicleisleftinalocked
stateforatleast4hourswhilstthesystemrelearns
thestateofthebattery.
3Ifthebatteryrequiresreplacement,ALWAYSusea
genuineparttothemanufacturersspecication.
Failuretoadheretothiscanaffecttheautomatic
Stop/Startsystem.
AutomatedStop/StartIntelligentFuel
SavingSystemFailure
IntheeventofaStop/StartIntelligentFuelSavingSystem
failure,contactanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
TheStop/StartIntelligentFuelSavingSystemcanbe
effectedbyfaultswithinothervehiclesystems-inthe
eventoffailurecontactanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
