telephonesorwirelessheadsetsareusedin
closeproximitytothevehicleitmayresult
ininterferencewiththeTPMSandcould
registerasafault.
Note:TPMSonlywarnsoflowtyrepressure,itdoes
notre-inatethetyre.
TPMSusespressuresensorsbuiltintotyrevalvesto
continuouslymonitorpressureandtransmitsthesignalto
anECUinsidethevehicleusingRFsignals.Ifitdeduces
thatthepressureofatyrehasfallenbelowthepredened
limitofthesystem,thewarninglightontheinstrument
packwillilluminateyellow.Formoreinformation,please

Checkyourtyresattheearliestopportunityandreinate
tothecorrectpressure.Pleasereferto‘T yrePressure

Thissystemisself-monitoring,ifamalfunction
isdetected,theTPMSwarninglamp(yellow)onthe
instrumentpackwillashfor90secondsrstandthen
illuminate.
Ifalowtyrepressureisdetectedthewarninglampin
theinstrumentpackwillilluminateyellow.Formore
information,pleasereferto‘WarningLampsandIndicators’
in‘InstrumentsandControls’section.
Note:Whenapunctureisdetected,thesystemwill
requiresometimetoanalyseinformationpriorto
illuminatingthewarninglamp.
Undercertainconditionsthewarninglightmayilluminate
whenafaultisnotpresent,theseconditionsinclude:
•Anonrecommendedtyretted(includingsparetyre).
•Roughterraindrivingforexcessiveperiods.
