Pleasepayattentiontothefollowingconditions:
•Donotoverloadorexcessively‘rev’ofengine.
•Donotstoptheenginewhenthecarisinmotionwith
agearselected.
•SeekanMGAuthorisedRepairerifyouthinkyourcar’s
oilconsumptionisabnormal.
•Ifamisreissuspected,orthecarlackspowerwhile
driving,providedtheenginehasreacheditsnormal
operatingtemperature,itmaybedrivenSLOWLY(at
riskofcatalystdamage)toanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
•Donotdriveonterrainlikelytosubjecttheunderside
ofthecartoheavyimpacts.
Note:Anyenginemisre,lossofengineperformance
orenginerun-on,couldseriouslydamagethecatalytic
converter.Regularmaintenancemustbecarriedoutin
accordancewiththeschedulespeciedinthe‘Service
Portfolio’.Anymodicationstoenginewithoutbeing
authorisedisprohibited.
