Y ourcarisequippedwitharemovabletowingeye,that
canbeusedatthefrontofyourvehicle.Thetowingeye
isstoredinthetoolkitbeneaththeloadspaceoorwhen
notinuse.T otthefronttowingeye,removethesmall
coveronthebumper ,thenscrewthetowingeyeintothe
threadedholeinthebumperbeamthroughthesmallhole
(asshowninthegure).Ensurethetowingeyeisfully
tightened.
Y ourcarisequippedwithaxedtowingeyeattherearof
thevehicle.
Note:Thetowingeyecovermaybesecuredtothe
bumperbyaplasticcord.
Bothtowingpointsareintendedforusebyqualied
recoveryspecialiststoassistintherecoveryofyour
carwhenabreakdownoraccidentoccur.Theyarenot
designedfortowingothervehicles,andmustNEVERbe
usedtotowatrailerorcaravan.Thecarcanbetowedby
usingasoftrope,butahardrodispreferred.

If,duetoanelectricalfault,potentialsafety
hazardsmayexist,itisnotallowedtoputthe
ignitionswitchintheONposition.
Whentowing,DONOTsuddenlyaccelerate
orbrakesuddenly,thiscancauseaccidents.
SuspendedT owing
Ifyourcarneedstobetowed,mostqualiedrecovery
specialistswillusewheelliftequipmenttosuspendthe
frontwheels,whiletherearwheelsremainontheground.
Ensuretheparkingbrakeisreleased,thehazardwarning
lampsareactivatedandnopassengersareleftinthevehicle.
