PositioningtheJack
NEVERworkbeneaththecarwiththejack
astheonlymeansofsupport.Thejackis
designedforwheelchangingonly!
NEVERjackthecarusinganyjackingpoints
otherthanthedesignatedpointsshown.
Seriousdamagetothecarcouldresult.
Avoidaccidentalcontactwithanyunderbody
parts,especiallyhotexhaustsystem
components.
Positionthejackonrmlevelgroundunderthejacking
pointnearestthewheeltoberemoved.Notethatthejack
headmusttintothecorrespondingrecessinthesillplate
(seeinsetinillustration).
T urningthejackscrewbyhand,adjustthejackuntilthejack
headtssnuglyontothesillinthecorrectarea.Ensurethat
thebaseofthejackisinfullcontactwiththelevelground.
ChangingtheWheel
Checksparetyrepressureregularly.Always
checktyrepressuresafterchangingawheel.
Ensurethatwheelnutsaretightenedto
correcttorqueof105-115Nm.
1Beforeraisingthecar ,usethewheelwrenchtoslacken
eachofthewheelnutshalfaturnanti-clockwise.
