OpeningtheBonnet
DONOTdrivewhenthebonnetisnotfully
closedorretainedonlybythesafetycatch.

1Pullthebonnetreleasehandle(A)fromtheinsideof
thecar .
2Pushthesafetycatchreleasehandleonthebonnetlock
assemblyinthedirectionofthearrow(B)torelease
thebonnetsafetycatch.
3Raisethebonnetandholditupwiththesupportrod
rmly.
ClosingtheBonnet
Supportthebonnetbyonehand,releasethesupportrod
usingtheotherhand,andplaceitrmlyintothesupport
rodbase.Thenholdthebonnetusingbothhandsand
lowerit,allowingittodropforthelast20～30cmtofully
closethebonnet.
Byattemptingtoliftthefrontedgeofthebonnet,checkif
thelockisfullyengagedafterclosingthebonnet.Ifitisnot
fullyengaged,youmustrepeattheoperation.
BonnetOpenWarning
Ifthebonnetisnotfullyengaged,whentheignitionswitchis
intheON/RUNposition,thecorrespondingwarninglamp
willbedisplayed(referto"WarningLightsandIndicators"
in"InstrumentsandControls"chapter).
