willclassifytheengineoilsbasedonperformanceand
quality.T oensurethebestperformanceofthevehicle,
pleaseonlyuseengineoilsthatarerecommendedby
themanufacturer(see"T echnicalData"-‘Recommended
FluidsandCapacities’.
Ifyouareoperatingthevehicleinextremetemperature
conditionspleaseconsultyourMGAuthorisedRepairer
foradvice.
EngineOilLevelCheckandRell
Drivingthevehiclewiththeengineoillevel
ABOVEtheuppermark,orBELOWthelower
markonthedipstick,willdamagetheengine.
T akecaretoavoidspillingengineoilontoa
hotengine–aremayresult!
Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilwhen
necessary.Ideally,theoillevelshouldbecheckedwiththe
enginecoldandthecarrestingonlevelground.However,
iftheengineisrunningandalreadygettingwarm,waitfor
atleastveminutesafterswitchingofftheignitionswitch
beforecheckingthelevel.
