expansiontankcapwhenthecoolingsystem
ishot-escapingsteamorhotcoolantcould
causeseriousinjury.
Thecoolantlevelshouldbecheckedweeklywhenthe
coolingsystemiscoldandwiththecarrestingonlevel
ground.
IfthecoolantlevelisbelowMINlevel,removethe
pressurecapwhencoldandaddcorrectcoolantMINto
MAXlevel.
Note:Preventcoolantcomingintocontactwiththe
vehiclebodywhentoppingup.Coolantwilldamage
paint.
Ifthecoolantlevelfallsappreciablyduringashortperiod,
suspectleakageoroverheatingandarrangeforanMG
AuthorisedRepairertoexaminethecar.
CoolantSpecication
Pleaseusethecoolantwhichisrecommendedandcertied
bythemanufacturer .Pleasereferto‘RecommendedFluids
andCapacities’.
Note:Inanemergency,topupthecoolingsystemwith
cleanwater,butbeawareoftheresultantreductionin
frostprotection.
