DONOTrestyourfootonthebrakepedal
whiledriving;thismayoverheatthebrakes,
reducetheirefciencyandcauseexcessive
wear.
Fortherst900miles(1500km),youshouldavoidsituations
whereheavybrakingisrequired.
Rememberthatregularservicingisvitaltoensurethat
allthebrakecomponentsareexaminedforwearatthe
correctintervals,andreplacedwhenrequiredtoensure
longtermsafetyandoptimumperformanceduringthe
intervalprescribedinServicePortfolio.
Whenthefrontbrakepadsreachtheirwearlimitametallic
squealmaybedetected,consultyourMGAuthorised
Repairerforassistance.
BrakeFluidCheckandT opUp
Brakeuidishighlytoxic,keepcontainers
sealedandoutofthereachofchildren.If
accidentalcontactofbrakeuidissuspected,
seekmedicalattentionimmediately.
Preventbrakeuidcomingintocontact
withtheskinoreyes.Ifthisoccurs,rinse
immediatelywithplentyofwater.
Thebrakeuidlevelshouldbecheckedweeklywhenthe
systemiscoldandwiththecaronlevelground.
Theuidlevelcanbeseenthroughthereservoirneck
andshouldbemaintainedasclosetothe"MAX"markas
possible.Donotallowtheleveltodropbelowthe"MIN"
mark.
Note:Brakeuidwilldamagepaintedsurfaces.If
youaccidentallyspillthebrakeuidonthepainted
surface,soakupanyspillagewithanabsorbentcloth
immediatelyandwashtheareawithwaterorcar
shampoo.
