Theautoholdsystemcannotnecessarily
stabilizethevehiclewhenstartingoffonthe
hill,orbrakethevehiclewhendrivingdown
thehill(suchasonaslipperyoricyroad).
DONOTleavethevehiclewhentheengine
isoperatingandtheautoholdfunctions.
Autoholdwillnotnecessarilybringthe
electronicparkingintooperationafter
ameoutinallcases,sopleasemakesure
thattheelectronicparkingisoperativeand
thevehicleisstabilizedbeforeleaving.
Autoholdfunctionshouldbeturnedoffprior
toautocleaning,otherwise,theelectronic
parkingmayautomaticallyturnonandlead
tothedamage.
Withtheenginerunning,whenthevehicleneedstostop
inafrequentmannerorforalongtime(suchaswaiting
infrontoftrafclights,parkingonthehillormovingand
stoppinginatrafcstream),autoholdsystemassiststhe
drivertostabilizethevehicleandpreventsitfrommoving,
withnoneedfordepressingthebrakepedalallthetime.
Withtheacceleratorpedaldepressed,autoholdsystem
releasesthebrakeimmediatelywhenstartingoff,andthe
vehiclewillmoveasperthegradientoftheroad.
Normally,autoholdhasthreestatesasfollows:
1OFF:thefunctionisinOffstate.
2Standby:thefunctionisinStandbystate,atthis
timethefunctionisactivatedbutstillnotparked.In
Standbystate,thevehiclewillautomaticallyparkonce
theconditionsforparkingareallmet.
3Parking:thefunctionisinParkingstate.Inthisstate,
thegreenindicatoroninstrumentilluminates.
