Hillholdcontrolsystemassiststhedriverinstartingthe
vehicleonuphill,andmeanwhilepreventsthevehiclefrom
slippingduringstart-off.
Hillholdcontrolsystemcanbeactivatedwhenallthe
followingsaresatised:
•Thevehicleisparkedstablyonuphillroadwiththeslope
morethan3%forlongerthan2seconds.
•Dynamicstabilitycontrolsystem(SCS)isfailure-free.
•Electronicparkingbrakesystem(EPB)isfailure-freeand
released.
•Theclutchpedalisdepressed(MT),orinDorRgear
(AT).
•Engineisstarted.
•Applysufcientforcetothebrakepedal.
Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedalonuphillroad,the
hillholdcontrolsystemwillholdthevehiclestillforappr.
1~2seconds.Ifthevehiclefailstostartinsuch1~2
seconds,thebrakeautomaticallyreleasesandthevehicle
slips,thebrakepedalshouldbedepressedimmediatelyin
suchacase.
Note:Thehillholdcontrolsystemworkswhendriving
forwardorreversingonuphillroad.

Whentheautoholdstopsthevehiclestably,
duetosomereasons(suchasameout,
releasingtheseatbeltorpressingdown
theautoholdswitchetc.),theautoholdis
switchedtoelectronicparking,itcannotbe
guaranteedthatthevehiclecanbestabilized
inallcases.Forexample,therearwheels
arerunningonsnowyorslipperyroad,orthe
slopeforparkingistoosharp(largerthan
20%).Pleasemakesurethatthevehicleis
stabilizedpriortoleaving.
DONOTdriveriskilywiththeadditional
convenientfunctionsprovidedbyautohold,
soastopreventtheaccident.Thedriver
shouldpayfullattentionandobservethe
surroundingsevenifthevehicleisequipped
withautoholdsystem.Andmakesureto
adjustthespeedanddrivingmodeasper
thevisibility,weatherandroadandtrafc
conditions.
