4.5.1 VPN > Summary
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) may be configured to enable a tunnel between the IPnXGii and a remote
network.. The IPnXGii supports VPN IPsec Gateway to Gateway (site-to-site) tunneling, meaning you are
using the IPnXGii to create a tunnel to a network with VPN capabilities (Another IPnXGii or VPN capable
device). The IPnXGii can also operate as a L2TP Server, allowing users to VPN into the unit from a remote
PC, and a L2TP Client.
