The inlet hoses must not be
shortened or damaged in any way
(see illustration).
See also the installation diagram
supplied.
IMPORTANT
Australia and New Zealand.
This machine must be installed
according to AS/NZS 3500.1. Back flow
prevention is already integrated in the
machine.
AD water connection (pressurised)
ö 0.6 - 10 bar (60 - 1000 kPa)
The machine is supplied as standard
for connection to an AD water supply of
0.6 - 10 bar (60 - 1000 kPa). If the water
pressure (flow rate) is below 1.5 bar
(150 kPa) the water intake time is
automatically extended.
^
The AD pressure tested hose
(marked "H
2
O pur") with a 3/4"
threaded union must be connected to
the on-site AD stopcock for purified
water.
If the AD water supply is not used,
the electronics will need to be
re-programmed by a Miele
approved service technician. The
inlet hose will remain on the rear of
the machine.
AD water connection (non-
pressurised) 0.085 - 0.6 bar (8.5 -
60 kPa) (optional)
If the machine has not been set up for
use with a non-pressurised AD water
supply (special order), it has to be
converted for use with a 0.085 - 0.6 bar
pressure (8.5 - 60 KPa) water supply
and fitted with a feed pump by a Miele
Service Technician.
When connecting an AD water
container (non-pressurised), the AD
water container spout must be at the
height of the upper edge of the
machine or higher (see "Installation
instructions").
