Safety distance behind and to the
side of the hob
The minimum safety distances shown
below must be maintained between the
appliance and a tall cabinet or wall:
- Between the back of the worktop
cut-out and the rear edge of the
worktop:
50mm
and
- On the right side between the
worktop cut-out and the closest
adjacent piece of furniture (e.g. tall
unit) or a room wall:
50mm and on the opposite side a
minimum safety distance of 200mm
or
- On the left side between the
worktop cut-out and the closest
adjacent piece of furniture (e.g. tall
unit) or a room wall:
50mm and on the opposite side a
minimum safety distance of 200mm
