4.8.9 Relief Valve Completion
1. Replace plastic hole plug.
2. Insert drain plugs into housing, using thread
sealing compound. Discard old oil and fill
pump with oil specified in section 2.
3. Refer to appropriate startup and operation
procedures.
4.9.10 Cleaning and Lubrication:
Whenever pump is disassembled: Clean all inside
and outside surfaces with an approved solvent,
and blow them dry with compressed air.
TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE PUMP
WHEN YOU CLEAN IT, USE A SOLVENT
THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE PRO-
CESS FLUID AND THAT WILL NOT
DAMAGE PUMP SEALS. CONTACT THE
MILTON ROY COMPANY FOR A REC-
OMMENDED SOLVENT.
