The Rate Mode
To turn the UltraRadiac-Plus on, press and
hold ON/OFF key until you see the Rate
display in Figure 6.

The Rate Alarm
There are two Rate Alarm Thresholds: Low
Rate, for a minor hazard, and High Rate, for a
severe hazard.
The alarm indicators will remain enabled as
long as you remain in the radiation area that
triggered the alarm.
