6. Maintenance
Preventive maintenance consists of routine
checks of the equipment before and after each
mission, or as required by procedure.
Routine Checks Include:
• Cleaning the unit.
• Inspecting the battery compartment’s
door gasket.
• Inspecting the battery contacts for
corrosion.
Cleaning the Unit
Remove dust, moisture and loose dirt from the
outside surfaces of the UltraRadiac-Plus with
a clean soft cloth. If necessary, the unit may
be cleaned with a mild solution of ordinary
detergent and water, rinsed, and thoroughly
dried.
