Press “Confirm”.
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
From a standard phone dial 9 to select the greetings.
Dialing 1 selects the primary greeting and dialing 2 selects the alternate greeting.
When a greeting is selected dial 1 to change the greeting and speak to record the greeting when prompted.
If a greeting is deleted the default greeting is used.
To Replay a Voice Mailbox Greeting
At your extension, press the MESSAGE key.
Select “Voice Messaging”.
Enter your extension number when prompted.
Enter your voice mail password (1111 by default) followed by #.
Select “Greeting”.
Select the primary or alternate greeting
Select “Replay Greeting”.
From a standard phone dial 9 to select the greetings.
Dialing 1 selects the primary greeting and dialing 2 selects the alternate greeting.
When a greeting is selected dial 2 to replay the greeting.
To Select the Primary or Alternate Greeting
The greeting that is replayed to callers to any voice mailbox can be the primary or alternate greeting. The
default is that the primary greeting is played.
At your extension, press the MESSAGE key.
Select “Voice Messaging”.
Enter your extension number when prompted.
Enter your voice mail password (1111 by default) followed by #.
Select “Greeting”.
Select the primary or alternate greeting
Select “Exit”.
The chosen greeting will be replayed to callers.
From a standard phone dial 9 to select the greetings.
Dialing 1 selects the primary greeting and dialing 2 selects the alternate greeting.
Replace the handset. The chosen greeting is replayed to callers.
Recording Names in Voice Mailboxes
Each user should record their name.
Press the MESSAGE key.
Select “Voice Messaging”.
Enter your extension number (which is your voice mailbox number).
Enter your voice mail password (1111 by default) followed by #.
You are presented with the Voice Messaging control menu. The options displayed are “Play”, “Erase
All Messages”, “Greeting”, “Change Password”, “Monitor”, “Record Name” and “Cancel”.
Select “Record Name”.
From a standard phone dial 71 to record your name. Dial 72 to check the name and 73 to delete it.
To Turn on the Voice Mailboxes
When an extension is allocated a Mailbox Forward On No Answer is automatically set to the voice
mailbox. The voice mailbox automatically answers all calls not answered by the extension.
You can also activate Forward All Calls or Forward When Busy to your voice mailbox.
From the idle menu, press the scroll down key () until “Forward” is displayed.
Select “Forward” on the Idle Menu and choose “Forward All Calls”.
