4.2.4 Enabling/disabling functions, safety communication settings
To use the safety monitoring functions, enable them on the Basic Configuration screen for the safety monitoring
functions.
Enable the safety monitoring functions and configure safety communication settings. From Workspace, select
[Online] -> [Parameter] -> [Safety Parameter] -> [Safety option] -> [Basic Configuration] to open the Basic
Configuration screen, then configure the settings using the following steps.
1) Select "Enable" under "Enable / Disable the Safety Function".
2) Select "Safety communications" under "Safety Input / Output I/F".
3) Select "CC-Link IE TSN".
4) Press [Communication Setting] to configure settings such as "IP address" and "Transmission interval
monitoring time", then press [Write].
5) Press [Safety connection status Output No.] to set signal numbers.
