Appendix 4 IO-Link Device Replacement Procedure
When the IO-Link module is replaced while the module is
powered off
The following shows the procedure for replacing an IO-Link device with another IO-Link device in a state that the IO-Link
module power supply is off.
The replacement procedure may differ depending on conditions. ( Page 188 Condition)
Replacement procedure
Set "Device Validation Setting" to "0: Do not validate".

Power off the IO-Link module.
Remove the connected IO-Link device, and replace it with a new IO-Link device.
