Check that the brake fluid level is between the
“MAX” and “MIN” marks on the reservoir tank.

Confirm that the windshield washer fluid level is
above the bottom of the inspection window.

Steering wheel free play
Gently turning the steering wheel, check that its
play is more than 5 mm (0.2 in.) and less than
50 mm (1.97 in.).

Press the horn button to check that the horn is
working properly.
Windshield wiper and washer operation
Check the washer for proper fluid spray direc-
tion and the wipers for normal action.
