7-19-1. Shifting the mechanical home position to the X direction
(1) Remove the right cover on the machine bed casting.
(2) Loosen two setscrews (NO.1) and adjust the X-detector (NO.2) position. If the X-detector is
moved to the right, the mechanical home position is shifted to the left (arrow - A direction in
below figure). If it is moved to the left, the mechanical home position is shifted to the right
(arrow - B direction in below figure).
(3) After the adjustment, tighten two setscrews (NO.1) securely. And put the right cover back
on the original location.
NOTE After the adjustment of X-detector position, make sure to check the clearance between
the X-detector (NO.2) and the X-detector plate (NO.3). This clearance has to be set
1.0~1.5mm. If clearance is out of this range, the sewing machine is possible to
malfunction.
7-19-2. Shifting the mechanical home position to the Y direction
(1) Loosen the Y-detector setscrew (NO.5).
(2) If the Y-detector (NO.4) is moved to the front, the mechanical home position is shifted to
the backside (arrow - C direction in below figure). If it is moved to the back, the mechanical
home position is shifted to the frontside (arrow - D direction in below figure).
(3) After the adjustment, tighten the setscrews (NO.5) securely.
