1. Adjustable deflect
Easily adjustable discharge deflect with 4 locking positions.
2. Discharge chute
Used to change the direction of the discharge. Capable of 360º rotation.*
3. Muffler
Reduces engine noise.*
4. Fuel shut-off valve
Shuts off the flow of fuel to the engine.
5. Drum locking pin
Prevents chipper drum from turning when performing knife
maintenance. This is a critical safety lockout feature.
6. Fuel and hydraulic oil gauges and filler cap
The oil and fuel gauges indicates the level of each fluid. The filler caps
are where the fuel and hydraulic oil are added.*
7. Top feed wheel chain guard
Safely guards against entanglements with the top feed wheel chain.
The
guard must be attached during operation.
8. Hydraulic oil filter
Helps keep oil clean.
9. Manual holder
Storage compartment for product manuals. Keep all the manuals with
the machine at all times. Use the manuals to refer to safety, features
and functions, parts, and maintenance.
10. Bottom feed wheel hydraulic motor
Provides power to the bottom feed wheel.
11. Flag holder
Holds safety clearance flags.
12. Hydraulic oil shut-off valve
Shuts off the flow of hydraulic oil when performing maintenance.
Caution: Damage to hydraulic components will occur if this valve is not
turned back on before operating machine.
13. Tool box
Lockable container for electrical pin connector and other tools.*
14. Axle
Provides suspension and braking for the chipper.
15. Rim and tire
Heavy duty tires.
16. Radiator screen
The screen keeps debris from plugging the engine radiator.*
17. Jack
Lifts and levels the chipper during the towing/hook-up process.
18. Hitch and chains
Fastens the chipper to a towing vehicle.*
19. Telescoping tongue
Adjusts to match tongue length with towing vehicle.*
20. Deflect handle
Changes the angle of the adjustable deflect.
