Function
The hydraulic valve bank controls operate the machine. They control the
yoke, aide in machine maintenance. The auto reverse valve is the
component that stops the feed wheel when low RPMs are detected from
the motor. It allows for smooth shifts in direction (forward or reverse) of
the feed wheels.
The chipper comes with several options, depending on what type of
options you have will dictate how many hydraulic handles your chipper is
equipped with. Check the Table of Contents in the Parts Section for the
options on your chipper.
Use
Operating the machine is managed by moving the hydraulic handles. The
handles are located on the valve bank. All handles, except the Safety
Control Bar, have a spring mechanism that will return the handle to the
Neutral position when not in use.
Maintenance
Check fittings and hoses for leaks
Check coils for tightness
Check for wear on wiring
WARNING!
Relieve stored hydraulic pressure before
performing service to the hydraulic system.
Components could be hot to the touch.
