Function
There are five options available for the infeed they are; rubber infeed
curtain with pulley safety cables, spring assist folding tray, emergency
stop button, folding tray, and European model. Your chipper may have a
combination of these options.
1. Rubber Infeed Curtain with Pulley Safety Cables: The
rubber infeed curtain keeps debris from flying back towards the
operator. When your chipper is equipped with a rubber infeed
curtain you must use the pulley safety cable system. This system
routes the safety cables to the outside of the rubber guard.
2. Spring Assist Folding Tray: Assists in raising or lowering the
folding tray.
3. Emergency Stop Button: Allows the operator to shut down the
engine in an emergency situation only!
4. Hydraulic Folding Tray: Opens and closes the folding tray
through hydraulic power.
5. Folding Tray: Shortens length of infeed for transport. Keeps
debris from flying out and harming bystanders and other vehicles
when towing the chipper.
Safety
Use
Rubber infeed curtain and Pulley Safety Cables: Pull the safety
cables straight down to reverse the feed wheels.

Hydraulic Folding Tray: To change the direction of the infeed tray
(folded up or down), move the manifold handle on the valve bank.
Lock the tray using the infeed tray locking pins.
Folding Tray: To unlock the folding tray, pull the locking pins
towards the center of the tray, and fold the tray down. Lift the tray up
and lock into place when not in use.
