Function
The remote control can be used in place of the valve bank controls to
operate the discharge spout, stabilizers, yoke, feedwheels, and throttle.
The switch on the receiver box can be switched to either remote or
manual settings. The remotes operating distance varies with
surroundings. During operation, switching between the remote and
manual controls can be done.
NOTE: The options of your machine may use all or only certain functions.
Use
To use the remote, the macine harness must be plugged into receiver box
(mounted on the machine) and the toggle switch must be in the remote
position.
Each toggle switch has a description of its function. The four switches in
the top row control the discharge spout, left and right stabilizers, and
yoke. The four switches on the bottom row control the feedwheels,
feedwheel stop, engine stop, and throttle.
Maintenance
Remote should be turned off when not in use. Do not store remote in
direct sunlight or wet areas. Handle remote with care. Do not drop,
throw, or subject to severe physical shock.
DANGER
You must start machine and engage the feedwheels in
reverse, hit your reverse toggle on your remote to ensure
the feedwheels come to a stop. (If they fail to stop, shut
down machine and contact your dealer). Refer to decal
on your machine.
Stray radio signals, high voltage power lines, and other
forms of interference may cause the remote control to
stop working or work erratically. Always stay within
working radius and always point remote toward receiver.
If the status light is a steady or blinking red this indicates
the batteries are low and must be replaced before
machine operation can continue. If the status light turns
red while operating, safely stop all machine operations
and replace the batteries.
