4.1 bis WORK POSITON
Proceed in the following way to switch to the WORK POSITION from the transport position.
WARNING: make sure that there are not bystandes within the range action of the disc bar
- from the tractor, release the safety clip A (with the relative rope) and lower the disc bar (with the hydraulic cylinder) to
the horizontal position.
- fold the front part of the protective cover downwards.
- make sure that the driveline is engaged and the sield fixed with the cains.
IMPORTANT:
when lifting the cut bar for the directional changes and thurn them with the hydraulic cylinder of the machine itself once
the cutting bar is raised, it is necessary to pass over the mowed ded,
it is recommended
not to excessively insist on recalling the idraulyc piston otherwise the structure of the machine is solicited unnecessarily
with risk of damage.
- get off the tractors and remove pin K
- lower the machine using the tractor’s power lift until an adequate work position has been reached (450 mm/17.7 inc)
The lifting device in the headland with the hydraulic cylinder automatically positions itself in the joist: visually make sure
that the harpoon slides in the grove. (It is important that the harpoon slides correctly in the quarry so that it points toward
the tooth obtained in the mobile ear and the bar lifting system works as desired).
