Video Advanced
Use this page to configure the advanced video settings.
These settings are intended for advanced users only.
You can choose from the following Real Time Streaming Protocol stream types:
• Multicast
The camera sends a video stream to a UDP address. Multiple receivers can access
this single video stream, if the multicast feature is enabled on their device.
• Unicast
The camera sends separate video streams to multiple receivers.
You can enable multicast for each of the streams. If you do not enable multicast for either of
them, the camera will operate in unicast.
To enable multicast for a stream, select Enable and enter the UDP Address, Port number,
and TTL (Time-to-Live).
To allow receivers on different segments of the network to access the multicast video
stream, ensure that all intermediate network switches and routers are set to correctly route
the video stream from the UDP address.
