Radio Overview
This chapter explains the buttons and functions of control head and microphone.

NOTE: The microphone is not part of the radio. It is an optional accessory.

Number Name Description
1 Power button Allows you to turn on or off the control head.
2 LED Indicator Provides operating status.
3 Accessory Port Allows you to connect accessories to the control
head.
4 Menu Select buttons Allows you to access the corresponding menu.
5 Home button Allows you to access the Home screen.
6 Dimmer button Allows you to adjust the display brightness.
7 Multi-Function Knob (MFK) Programmed to support a primary and secon-
dary feature function or as a single function Vol-
ume knob. When programmed with the primary
and secondary feature function, pressing this
knob switches between the following features:
• Rotate clockwise to increase the volume and
counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
• Rotate to scroll through the channel or zone
list.
