GENERAL OPERATION
Fitting/Removing Battery
Before fitting or removing the battery, always
turn the radio off.
In order to fit the battery, place the two tabs
at the bottom of the battery in the corre-
sponding holes in the radio and press the
battery towards the radio until the two battery
latches (17) at the top have engaged.
Press the two battery latches (17) down and
lift the battery away from the radio.

otes:
1: The battery must be charged before
initial use.
2: Refer to SAFETY INFORMATION for
batteries used with intrinsically safe
radios.
