Setting Up Your Phone
1. Install the battery.
䡲 Remove the battery from its packaging.
䡲 Insert the battery into the
opening in the back of
the phone, making sure
the connectors align.
Gently press down to
secure the battery.
䡲 Position the battery cover
over the battery
compartment and press
down until you hear a
click.
2. Charge your battery for at
least three hours.
3. Press and hold the
Power/Lock button on
top of your phone to turn it
on.
䡲 If your phone is activated, it
will turn on and show some
setup instructions.
䡲 If your phone is not yet activated, see “Activating
Your Phone” on page 3 for more information.
