Draining residual oil from equip-
ment carrier (only with un-
scheduled engine oil change)
1. Provide a suitable container in which to col-
lect the engine oil.
2. Remove drain plug (1) and drain oil (approx.
7 liters) from oil heat exchanger and oil filter.
3. Remove drain plugs (2) and (3) and drain en-
gine oil:
• (2) approx. 12 liters
• (3) approx. 5 liters
4. Install drain plug(s) with new sealing ring.
5. use torque wrench to tighten drain plugs (2) and (3) to specified tightening torque.

New engine oil – Filling
1. Open cover (1) on filler neck.
2. Fill engine oil through filler neck until “max.”
mark on oil dipstick is reached.
3. Close cover (1) on filler neck.
4. Check engine oil level (→ Page 108).
5. Crank engine on starting system (→ Page 76).
