Engine does not turn when starter is actuated

Battery: Cable connections faulty u Check that cable connections are properly secured

Starter: Engine cabling or starter
faulty
u Check if cable connections are properly secured, contact Service.

Engine/generator control system:
Assemblies or connectors
possibly loose
u Perform visual inspection (→ manufacturer's documentation)
DDEC: Plug-in connections
possibly loose
u Check plug-in connections (→ Page 148).
Running gear blocked (engine
cannot be barred manually)

Engine turns but does not fire

Poor rotation by starter: Battery
low or faulty

Engine fires unevenly
