6.13. Evaporative emission control system
MV Agusta F3 motorcycles are equipped with
an evaporative emission control system which
prevents the escape of fuel vapors from the
fuel tank. In order to maintain the efficiency
and reliability of this device, have the following
operations performed by an authorized ser-
vice center.
Check (and replace if necessary)
Hoses and connections
Canister
Check (and clean if necessary)
Hot air inlet
These operations should be performed for the
first time at 18,000 km (11,200 miles), then they
should be repeated every 12,000 km (7,500
miles).
