Engine start procedure
Press the start button without turning the throttle
twist grip.
As soon as the engine starts, release the button.
CAUTION
• Do not press the start button for longer than
5 consecutive seconds, in order to avoid dam-
age to the electrical equipment.
• Avoid warming up the engine while the vehi-
cle is stationary. The subsequent engine over-
heating can cause damage to the internal
parts of the engine. It is advisable to bring the
engine to the working temperature by riding
at reduced speed.
• To ensure the maximum life of the engine,
never speed up at full throttle when the engi-
ne is cold.
