Cleaning the fan filter
In order to maintain your Importer Plus warranty and prevent premature component failures, clean
your importer's fan filter periodically.
Interval
Every six months in typical environments. Every three months in dusty, humid or harsh
environments.
Procedure
Take the following steps to clean the Importer Plus’ fan filter:
1. Open the Importer Plus’ front cover.
2. Remove the four Philips screws, which hold the fan cover, on the left side of the Importer
Plus’ front panel, in place.
3. Clean the fan filter using soap and warm water. If the fan filter is damaged, replace it
immediately.
4. Reinstall the fan filter.
5. Close the front cover if desired.
