Character Sets
There are three (3) character sets installed.
• Default
o Code 858 (International) (VFD and LCD)
o Code 101 (Katakana)
o Code 866 (Cyrillic)
• Currently Downloadable
o Code 775 (Baltic)
o Code 852 (Polish)
o Code 853 (Multilingual Latin with € symbol)

The LCD supports not less than 20 characters sets of 256 characters each. These
character sets are inside a PROM that plugs into a socket on the PCB. All of the
characters sets are stored in non–volatile memory.
