Running the Service
To run the service manually, perform the following steps.
Windows
1. From the Start menu, select Control Panel  Performance and Maintenance 
Administrative Tools
 Services.
2. From the services list, select NCR5976LDServiceSupport.
Note: If the Service status is already started, select Stop.
3. Select Start to launch the service.
Linux
1. Open a terminal.
2. Enter /etc/init.d/NCR5976LDServiceSupport start.
Reverting Start–up Type
To revert the start–up type to Automatic, perform these steps:
Windows
1. From the Start menu, select Control Panel Performance and Maintenance
Administrative Tools
 Services.
2. From the services list, select NCR5976LDServiceSupport.
3. To enable automatic start–up type, select Automatic.
4. Select Apply.
5. Select OK.
Linux
1. Open a terminal.
1. Enter chkconfig ‐‐add NCR5976LDServiceSupport.
2. Press Enter.
