To cancel Selectable Display Messaging:
1. Press ICM and dial *3.
OR
Press PROGRAM + CALL FWRD. You see:
2. Dial 0.
OR
Press NONE.
OR
Press CLEAR.
It is no longer necessary to press SPK to hang up.
3. Selectable Display Messaging is cancelled.
System Programming Password Protection
Duplicate Passwords Won’t Lock Out Programming
When programming passwords in 9905-Password, the system will enforce the higher level pass-
word if there are duplicate entries. For example, if you inadvertantly set the level 3 (Installer) pass-
word the same as either level 1 (System Administrator 1) or level 2 (System Administrator 2), the
system will enforce the level 3 password. In prior software versions, the system would enforce the
lower level password if there were duplicate entries. This would lock you out of system program-
ming, since only level 3 can program passwords.
System Timers, Trunks
Ringing Signal End Detect Timer Name Change
The prompt for 0402-Ringing Signal End Detect Timer is changed from SIGNAL STOP DET?
to RING STOP DET?.
Tandem Trunking / Unsupervised Conference
New COS Bit Added For Unsupervised Conference
An extension can set up an Unsupervised Conference only if:
● The new Extension Class of Service option 0101-Unsupervised Conference is enabled.
● One of the trunks involved in the Unsupervised Conference has 1003-Tandem Trunk
enabled.
This new Extension Class of Service option ensures that enabling 1003-Tandem Trunk for Off
Premise Call Forwarding does also not inadvertantly enable Unsupervised Conference.
