1.1 Configuration
Shared Services Configuration is the configuration utility installed as part of
the shared services installation. This configuration utility is accessible from
within the NEC program group. When this utility is started, the following menu
is displayed.
The Shared Services Configuration menu includes the following fields:
The Port Number field specifies the port that the services use to
communicate with the desktop clients.
The Desktop Users settings control which users are allowed to edit the
shared databases: Directory, Contact List and Trunk Names.
Selecting All Users allows any desktop user to edit the databases.
