Chapter 4 Toolbar Functions
SECTION 1 TOOLBAR FUNCTIONS
The function buttons which appear in the function toolbar on the Full Window, Toolbar,
and Compact Phone modes provide access to the operations that are most frequently
used by the phone user. The set of function buttons which are displayed can be
customized by the user, as well as the size, order, and hotkey associated with the
function. Configuration of the toolbar button layout is described in Chapter 5
Application Level Configuration.
Each button changes from active to inactive depending on the state of the calls
managed by the application. The following table shows the set of functions that are
active for different phone states.

* Voice Over becomes enabled when the user dials a busy
extension.
* Video becomes enabled when the application detects that a
video device (webcam) is connected to the host PC.
* When using a deskset with the desktop application, an external
recording interface, such as the ADA-L is required to enable
Recording.

permissions may be required to allow execution of some
of the available functions.
