Troubleshooting by LED Indication on Blades
This section describes the method for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting when you detect the fault occur-
rence by LED indication on blades.
“Remedial Action on Each LED Status” shows contents of the fault and the remedial action on each LED
status.
You can also confirm the status of blade by the PCPro.

CP31 (CPU)
RUN LED is off Abnormal operation of
CPU blade
Check to see if the SENSE switch is
set to “0-4” (On Line).
If the fault cannot be cleared,
replace the blade.
ALM LED is on
or flashing
Major trouble or Minor
trouble has occurred.
See PC Programming Manual.
LINK LED is off LAN connection failure Check to see if the LAN cable is
correctly connected.
Confirm the condition of the LAN
device (such as power of the HUB)
connected to the CPU blade.
If the fault cannot be cleared,
replace the blade.
CC-CP01
(CPU)
RUN LED is off Abnormal operation of
CPU blade
Check to see if the SENSE switch is
set to “1” (On Line).
If the fault cannot be cleared,
replace the blade.
ALM LED is on
or flashing
Major trouble or Minor
trouble has occurred.
