5-6 Connecting Peripheral Devices
1. Make sure NEC Versa power and docking station power
are off.
2. Locate the mouse port on the back of the docking
station.
3. Insert the mouse cable connector in the port.

4. Turn on power to the NEC Versa and docking station.
EXTERNAL AUDIO OPTIONS
The docking station provides various audio ports on the
back of the unit for connecting audio devices such as head-
phones, microphones, and external speakers. When you
plug in these audio attachments, they use the sound capa-
bilities in the docking station.
If you install an optional sound board in the
docking station, use the input and output jacks on
the back of the board. See your sound board docu-
mentation for details.
